Kisses for Kade

Kade is your typical 4-year-old little boy, cheeky and full of energy. This gorgeous little guy is always smiling, laughing and has so much love to give.

Kade was diagnosed with Cystic fibrosis when he was born. This condition affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat and the digestive system. It causes these fluids to become thick and sticky. They then plug up tubes, ducts and passageways and make it hard for Kade to breathe, especially when he gets a cold. Kade has medication everyday and therapy to help keep his lungs strong.

He has been doing so well but a month or so ago he caught a cold, which affected his lungs. After he wasn't getting better, Ness (his mum) took him in for some tests in the hospital and it showed he has a dangerous bacteria growing and if not treated it will scar his precious lungs and cause all sorts of problems for him. 

Kade is about to spend 3 weeks in hospital where they will operate and he will be hooked up to IV drips and pumped full of antibiotics. After he is home, his intensive antibiotic treatment will continue for weeks. With a very low immune system, he will have to be super carefull to not catch anything.

We all know Kade's beautiful mum Ness, who dedicates her life to her boys.  Ness will be in hospital with Kade every day.  We just want to make life a little easier and allow her to be by Kade's side so he can come home quickly.
