Kingston's Guardian

As most of you already know my daughter passed away Christmas morning. Her son Kingston has lived with me for the majority of his life because both parents struggle with drug addiction and there was a horrible experience that made me not trust him in his father's home. Details are not appropriate for public view. Kingston has a safe and stable home with me and I have always allowed his family to visit as often as they want. His father has challenged me to court for full time guardianship of Kingston which would devastate us both. Kingston wants his father to be a part of his life but doesn't want to live with him. He begged me to not let anyone take him from me. I cannot afford to hire an attorney and it humbles me to even ask for help but I won't let my pride get in between protecting my grandson.
