Kilimanjaro Challenge for Compassion
Donation protected
With a milestone birthday approaching, I would like to use the opportunity and raise funds for a cause that is dear to me, helping children out of poverty. From my experience, I believe people want to help but most feel that what they can give may not make a difference. However, I have seen over and over again that 'together, our little bits can make a big difference'! And so I am asking you to please contribute your little (or large) bit to help get a child out of poverty. Please support me as I challenge myself to go out of my comfort zone while (with your help), raising money to help give children in poverty hope.
The plan is to divide the funds this way:
- £5,000 will go to funding the trip and to Compassion UK, a charity that helps bring children out of poverty. You can also make the donation to Compassion or sponsor a child directly via my compassion link - here.
- £5,000 will go to help children in a Motherless Babies Home in Nnewi, in Anambra state, Nigeria, as part of an initiative I am embarking on called Beatrice's Home. My grandmother, Madam Beatrice Ejimbe founded this home a few decades ago before she died. It is now run by the government and needs a bit of help. The £5,000 will help provide them a library/media room and update their bathrooms, provide basic hygiene/sanitary products and new schools shoes.
I will be very grateful for your help, and please believe me when I say nothing is too small.
Thank you!
