keep friend from becoming homeless

My friend, Mark, has been living in his trailer on another friend's property, caretaking for the last 5+ years. The next door neighbor went to the county and complained, and now code compliance has come out and red tagged the property, giving him 2 months to get off the land or they will come back with a court order. Mark has a debilitating bone disease and is on a very limited income.  We're trying to find a way to get him a forever home where he can live his life in peace without the fear of becoming homeless. We're trying to find help with a down payment for an inexpensive home. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get for him. He was a volunteer firefighter for 14 years, and has done numerous other types of jobs, but because of his bone disease, he can no  longer do any of the jobs he used to do. Still, he tries to help people with with their needs whenever he can. He is a very kind person and used to always be a happy person, but he has become very depressed because he is very afraid of becoming homeless, and feels he has no way out. He would be more than grateful for any help, and as soon as he can get settled in a home where he feels secure, he plans to pay it forward. In fact, "Pay It Forward" is his favorite movie.
