Keep Christine Fighting

Hello, my name is Christine Noble. I am a trans woman suffering from multiple emotional disorders. These disorders, along with my status as a trans woman, make it difficult for me to hold down a job.

The good news is, in the meantime I have found meaningful engagement in multiple social justice causes. I volunteer with labor, lgbt, environmental, racial, and education justice committees, often under the banner of one organization. 

When it is available, I do find temporary work in these fights: putting together reports, building mass engagement programs, and knocking on doors. But these jobs are seasonal, and/or dependent on grants. 

I love doing not for profit work. I love doing what I can to make this world hurt a little less for everyone. After doing that work, I find it even harder to return to for profit organizations, not because I am incapable of doing the work, but because the atmosphere is so toxic, and so triggering for my anxiety and depression. I am simply incapable, or close enough to it, of working to make rich people richer.

Which is why I am hoping I can get the financial help I need to just keep volunteering as much as I can between grants. I live a fairly spartan lifestyle. I don't need much to keep entertained. I do, however, still need to eat, keep a roof over my head, and take care of my multiple medical needs.

If you help me, it won't just benefit me, but every organization I give my time to. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am that you are even reading this far. The world needs more empathy, and I hope to add to it, with your help.
