Can you help Impact North East to support individuals and families to live happier, healthier lives?
Mental health issues can affect everyone. One in four of us will experience problems within our lives. NHS waiting lists continue to soar leaving people in our communities in need and without hope - that is why we need organisations such as Impact North East who we can turn to.
As a charitable, not for profit organisation, Impact receives no statutory funding to deliver the fantatastic work they do. Every penny of your support will go to supporting children, young and families to get the support they need.
How does Impact Support People?
With no eligibility criteria and "ticky box" lists to decide if you qualify for their services, Impact North East provides a life-line to people in the local area. They provide holistic and bespoke community support service, supporting families not only with mental health but also helping people to access food banks, household packs, clothes household items, sanitary items. They go the extra mile in any way children & young people and families need.
Why am I supporting them?
Impact Nort East is a much-needed service, helping families to overcome the challenges they face. They provide quality counselling interventions and have made a significant difference to the lives of some of my friends who have accessed their services.
As a supporter of charitable businesses and social enterprises, I understand the challenges, personal sacrifices and endless work, people like Sharon and her team, but into providing services to make lives better for all. Austerity is biting, we all know that. There are fewer funds in the public sector, tight eligibility criteria for services and more competition for grants making funding a challenge. While funding decreases, demand for services from our communities continues to rise - that's why we need organisations such as Impact to help others who would otherwise be overlooked.
