Sandy's New Home

Donation protected
As many of you may know, what is being called the December 2015 flood has damaged many homes in the Four States area, including my own.  When the flood water crested, there was 10 inches of water in the house. Thankfully most of my mother's most cared about possessions were off the floor or had been moved out, but the mobile home is no longer livable. The cost to repair it would be more than what it is worth, and there was no insurance taken out on it. This has left my mom in a tougher spot than she was already in, being a low income, single parent with a daughter in college. We no longer have a home to live in and not nearly enough money to afford a new one, along with all of our normal expenses.

My goal is to raise as much money as I can for Sandy to afford a down payment on a house and to replace damaged furniture . This is the second home she has lost to flooding, so she no longer wants to put herself in danger by living on Spring River. She's an amazing, hardworking, selfless woman and who didn't deserve something like this to happen to her again.  We need help moving on from this, which is why I am starting this fundraiser. I would be incredibly thankful for any donation, big or small, because I believe that no one is more deserving of a fresh start than my mom is.
