HOPE Project: Sponsoring Children in Himalaya Nepal
Project HOPE is a "One Child – One Donor" sponsorship literacy program. Through child sponsorship, it offers full educational scholarships, uniforms, and stationery materials to the earthquake victims and underprivileged, indigenous children in the Dolpa district of Nepal.
This program was initiated by Solidarity Nepal, a registered non-profit and social welfare organization dedicated for social transformation in Nepal. It is also sponsored by Solidarity International, an international philanthropic organization registered in Nepal with District Administration Registration Number 950 and Social Welfare Council Affiliation Number 41783 on Feb 5, 2015 & July 26, 2015 pursuant to Section 4 of the Society Registration Act, 1977 and Section 13 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992.
How This Project Runs?
This project runs with your generous support. We initiated this project for everyone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of innocent children by investing little effort. Every one of you can contribute and participate in this project by becoming an individual donor by sponsoring a child for a year. Our goal is to connect 100 individual donors to 100 children in the year 2016.
The project will:
· Help a child receive an education that he/she otherwise might not receive.
· Create awareness about the importance of education in the rural Himalayan region.
· Benefit the students from underprivileged and earthquake affected communities.
· Create habits of learning.
· And improve the quality of education.
How to support?
· Help us raise funds to sponsor a child (includes school uniforms, stationary materials, backpack, shoes etc.) for a year
(1 Child = US $100 = Nepalese rupee (Nrs) 10,000)
Exchange Rates: US $1 = Nrs 100
· Share our project with members of your community, coworkers, employees, and friends.
· Help us to connect with individual donors to sponsor an individual child.
· Partner with us.
· Overall support for the project.
