We finally did it!
For the past 5 years, Barbara (my wife) and I have spent a significant portion of our early morning coffee time mentally designing the kind of church that could tempt us to "go back to church"
We landed on something we call Once A Month Church
We knew we could not be "the" pastors. Fortunately we pitched the idea to Jeff and Julie Nagel (who've done a ton of pastoring and really really enjoy it) and they said they would step up and help us lead.
So, we're hosting our first Sunday gathering on Nov 1st and we thought it would be fun to have some people help us raise our official church planting fund :-)
$650 isn't alot but read the FAQs on our website you'll see why it's enough.
This will pay the first months' rent, buy a coffe pot, coffee, donuts (hey its a church) printing, signage, posters, T Shirts an Open Sign and other random expenses that come up when you're doing a start up.
We need it by Halloween (the night before we start :-)
We'd also love to have you join us for our very first OAMC Gathering on Sunday November 1st at 10:30. The cool thing is that we all get to set our clocks back one hour on Halloween night, so you can come to church late and still be on time.
