Hello, my name is Justin and I’m a 20 year old trans man. I came out as trans at the age of 17 in my senior year of high school. And boy have the last 3 years been a ride! I started out as a cheerleader for 8 years and living a completely different life. Knowing something was wrong I decided to out myself and change my life completely, losing friends and family for the sake of my happiness. The last year of my life since starting hormones has been phenomenal. I’ve managed to go to college, get a house with my best friend and partner, start testosterone (just over a year ago!!), and get my name and gender marker legally changed! For the longest time I’ve wanted top surgery and recently I made the decision to talk to a doctor and obtain a price. Given I work full time and go to school it is very hard to pay for this surgery that means so much to me all on my own.
