Justice For Boaz

My beloved pit bull, Boaz, was shot in the face Monday morning outside my home in South Kansas City.

I had just let him out to use the bathroom when I heard gunshots ring out and saw him lying on the ground, covered in blood. 

Police are still investigating what happened and are looking for the person who is responsible.  I  tried my best to save my pet by driving him to the vet, but he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later. 

Boaz is now in a better place, but with this sudden crime comes unexpected vet bills that I must now pay. Even though he did not survive, the cost of trying to save his life amounts to $600.

In addition to this tragedy, I am now struggling to pay this off. Any help - no matter how big or small - from fellow animal lovers in my community would be greatly appreciated.
