Introduction:
Tony Ray Brewer has been a long time resident of Rogers County Oklahoma. His family has lived in Oologah, Oklahoma for 4 generation's. He is known by his friends, family members, and community as a bright yet simple down to earth, generous to a fault, big-hearted man.
Background:
During his young adulthood, due to an undiagnosed learning disability, Tony was not allowed to continue his education past 8th grade and at 15 went immediately to work doing what he could to support himself being unable to read or write. He learned to write his name and comprehend enough words to function in his community and work environment. Being vulnerable as he was, facing these challenges was a difficult task but he did what he could to fit in and be self sufficient, that ended in 2004 when a careless deputy transporting him drove too fast on wet roads and flipped the vehicle. Injuries he received crippled him and received a traumatic brain injury. Multiple surgeries later he is able to walk with assistance and has to keep a wheel chair handy. Rogers County has not been kind to this man at all. He has been using only marijuana to treat his injuries and his experience with law enforcement has been a disaster. Even after getting a medical marijuana license he was sentenced to 20 years by judge Stidley for a case he caught in 2015 for possession with intent. His Attorney took his money, what little he gets on a disability check, but did nothing to help him get a fair deal. We need an Attorney to fight for justice for Tony because this is not in his best interest as the terms of his sentence forbids him to administer his medicine or he will go to prison for full 20. He cannot have CBD oils either even if it has no THC.
Tony has never committed any violent crimes against anyone. He is only guilty of wanting to manage his pain with Marijuana instead of opioids as he was offered before, and just live a simple peaceful life.
Due to having to fight this case going on three years now, Tony has lost his home, depleted all his assets, drained his savings, and is barely able to pay his bills.
