Codys vet bill He needs eye surgery

Cody needs eye surgery!!! We went to pick Cody up from a owner who could no longer care for him Friday January 2, 2015! We where told he was blind in one eye wich was not an issue to us! When we got there we where schoked to find him locked in a small stall with a foul smell coming out of it!!! I went in the stall and got him we took him outside the barn, and WOW was I shocked to what I saw! Cody's  eye had been extremely damaged ! And the owner was oblivious to what was going on!  She. Thought is was a little wheepy . ;(.  He had a major infection that's what the Oder was!! We loaded Cody up and where on our way to take him to his new home!!
The nex morning January. 3 ,2015 we took Cody to the vet to get a blood test that he needed and to get his eye checked out!!   even the vet was a little shocked at the condition of the eye!  The vet cleaned his eye up some so he could get a better look since there was so much infection and drainage. Cody's eye is unrepairable due to it being punctured ! Cody needs his damaged eyeball removed and his eye closed up properly !!!   He is also on antibiotics now for atleast two weeks to clear the infection up before he can go in for surgery!!  

At at this time Cody is in a big warm stall with a run  so he can go outside too ! But until his surgery is done he can't go out into the feild and get to be a normal horse!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated at this time, since I was only planning on taking on a blind horse not one that needs major surgery  immediately !!!
