Hi!
My name is Neil Scribner. I am a member of the RAPID board of directors. RAPID is asking for some financial support in order to expand into a new facillity.
Our vision is to create a daylong activity center where a committed team of trained staff and volunteers will provide learning skills, activities and physical training for adults with special needs. Our goal is to provide support for families with adults who have cognitive deficiencies, mental disabilities,autism,and,physical limitations.
Since we are a private 501c3 and accept no government funding the costs of the additional staffing and rent is restraining us from providing our services to more of the central florida special needs population. As these young adults come out of high school, their parents are faced with the problem of having to quit work or to find a place for their family member to spend an active, vital and social day.
