Our vision: Flores Joyful Retreat.
A place for yoga, meditation, Qi gong, traditional Indonesian dancing and cooking - things to bring you back in touch with your true state of peace and joy.
The retreat space will also incorporate the 'Joyful Children Area'. This is a place for children from the surrounding villages (and around the world) to learn traditional dancing, English, organic gardening, traditional games and connecting to nature.
We have purchased land for the retreat on the beautiful island of Flores in Indonesia and have built the first house with guest room and kitchen - we now need your help to continue the creation of the Flores Joyful Retreat.
The next phase of development will include the children's activity house, guest houses, yoga room and installation of solar panels for electricity.
The Flores Joyful Retreat will be registered as a non-for-profit organisation and any profits will be invested in projects that support the children of Flores.
Any donations are welcome, but if you help us with 600 SEK (60 Euro, 75 USD) you are welcome to stay one night for free at Flores Joyful Retreat including food and all activities we will offer. (1200 SEK - two nights etc.)

Lars, from Sweden, has the last 12 years been teaching yoga asana, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation in yoga schools and on retreats around the world. He is also organizing yoga retreats in Sweden, Spain and India. Recently he completed his Qi Gong teacher training and is a registered Ayurvedic Life Style Consultant. He aim to give people tools to manage their busy lives.
Liz, from Flores, Indonesia, has a bachelor degree in International Tourism/Hospitality Management and has studied midwifery at University in Indonesia. She is also an experienced school teacher and teaches traditional Indonesian dancing. Her passion is to combine what she learnt in school and University with what mother nature offers.
