Joshua’s Buddy Bench Project

Hi Everyone! My 9 yo son and I saw a project that a young lady from Indiana was doing. She was collecting recycleable plastics and raising money for the benches in her hometown and helping other schools get one as well. My son is autistic and has a tough time with his peers. I showed him the video and he was super excited to see other kids being kind. He wanted to do something for his school to help kids make friends and not get bullied anymore. We are extremely excited to have so many in the community willing to help.  We are making this page for companies and others who would like to support our efforts. We are trying to get five benches for our local elementary schools. We are also hoping to get the word out enough to help support other elementary schools in the county as well! This cost is not just for the five benches, but for us to travel to Indiana to pick up said benches and return to NY. We are trying really hard to find a company closer to home to cut cost.
