Joshua has a unique opportunity to travel to Germany to study with Prof. W. Schmitt-Leonardy of Hochschule f. Musik & Theater München ,Ecole Normale, and Alfred Cortot Paris.
The Music Camp begins the first of the year and goes for 4 days. There will be other young students from around the world which were hand selected, but Joshua will be the only one representing the U.S. The funds will be used to fly Joshua and one of his parents and for room and board in Saarlouis, Germany.
The Funds are needed ASAP. By January 1, 2017.
The trip will help Joshua improve hs technique and align his talents with other young gifted pianist from around the world.
13 year old Joshua Mhoon loves Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Lang Lang and Vladimir Horowitz. Most recently Joshua played during the Chicago Bulls half time show at United Center in front of over 21,000 people. In the Fall 2016, he was featured performing a mashup of Biggie Smalls and Liszt at the University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Performing Arts. Spring 2016 Joshua performed at Ravinia in Gordon Hall and with YoYo Ma at the 2016 Chicago Youth and Music Festival.
