Joplin Bungalows Furniture Campaign

On May 21, 2011, the seventh deadliest tornado hit Joplin, taking 161 lives and causing damage to 9,000 homes in its path.  Since that time, the Joplin community has collaborated to rebuild.  Joplin Bungalows is one of the steps in the process to recovery, providing 20 units of supportive housing to service Seniors and Veterans.  Please join me in donating funds to furnish these 20 units.  By donating funds, our Joplin Seniors and Veterans will not only have a permanent place to call home, but they will have the furnishings to truly be "home".  Your funds will be used to purchase new furniture for the residents of Joplin Bungalows.  The campaign for furniture funds will run through Veterans Day 2019.  St. Thomas the Apostle, Episcopal Church (Overland Park, KS) is acting as the fundraising platform and lead for furnishing Joplin Bungalows.
