Join us in Katie's fight

Katie Louise Walsh was born on May 23rd 2019 weighing in at 7lbs 14oz. We were thrilled for the arrival for our newborn baby girl. The first three weeks were rough due to her losing over a pound and continuing to lose weight over time. At 4 weeks another head measurement was taken only to find out her head was not growing either. It was at this point the doctors wanted to start doing tests on her skull and brain. Through cat scan and ultrasounds they found that she has brain damage. The part of the brain affected controls memory and muscle functions. She was home for less than a week and is currently being re admitted to the hospital due to her upper air passages being blocked/constricted/collapsing. Due to the extensive stays in the hospital and appointments to come, her mother has already lost both of her jobs. I have missed a lot of work due to the hospital stays and having 2 kids at home to care for as well. We are mainly seeking help for rent, car payments, gas back and forth, and food for her stays in the hospital. We aren't asking anyone to send us their last dollar, anything will help that can be spared. Even if it is positive thoughts,prayers, or even just a share, everything helps!
