Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
As many of you have heard, we lost John Spincken Monday evening. John was a father, husband, son, brother, and friend. Many have reached out asking how they can contribute. We started this page for the boys, Johnny (3 years old) and Frankie (turning 2 years old next month), as well as assistance in paying for medical and funeral expenses.
Although judgement may be the easy route, compassion is what is needed now. As with the 7 billion other souls on this planet, John was not perfect. We will never understand the pain in his heart nor the hope that he lost.
However, we do ask for your courage to love and support the family he had left behind. Our hearts break with Fara, who has been so incredibly strong during this time. We are all fortunate that with God's grace the boys are safe and on the road to recovery.
While this tragedy will remain with them for the rest of their lives, let us focus on—and most of all celebrate—the miracle of the boys' survival and ease the disruption and turmoil. Let us surround them with love. Make them laugh, play with them, and enrich their lives with the abundance of blessings that God has bestowed on them and Fara. From now on, let us remind them how lucky and how grateful we are to have them here today—safe and sound.
Thank you all for your sincerity, thoughts, and sympathy. We created this fundraiser because of your tremendous outpouring of generosity, good will, and prayers. We are truly blessed for all of your kindness.
