UPDATE TO CARING BRIDGE AND GO FUND ME ... IMMEDIATE NEED:
Handicapped-equipped van.

For those of you who have followed Judy/Mike Madson on this year-long journey, and for any first time readers, Judy Madson has been released to go home after exactly a one year circle, June 15, 2014, to June 16, 2015.

The illness that Judy contracted while in Innsbruck, Austria, was a debilitating pneumonia strain that entered her blood stream, causing septsis and a 5% chance of life. She has been through a medically induced coma, dialysis; a ventilator and tracheotomy procedures. Judy endured the beginning of quadruple amputations before being medivaced home to OHSU.

Judy was then sent to Vibra Rehab Speciality Hospital and on to Avamere Rehab to learn the use of prostheses for her arm and legs. Judy was then accepted to the Rehab Institute of Oregon (RIO) for  the final rehab
before being able to go home.

PLEASE think about Judy's needs trying to start a life over in her own home.  Again, a handicapped van is a necessity.

Thank you,
Friends of Judy and Mike Madson
