JJ's Crossmen Fees

My name is JJ Pipitone III, and I am raising money to go on tour with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps this summer.
The money I raise will be used in four ways.
1) There will be seven camps. Every camp has a fee of $100 each
2) Transportation to the camps is $200 per ticket roundtrip.
3) $3,100 will go to the actual tour fee. The corps collects this money from every member and uses it for things like gas, food, and all the other costs of taking 150 people on the road all summer.
4) I will also need about $350 for miscellaneous spending money, like laundry and food on free days.
5) Gofundme charges 8% to use their site, which, if I met my goal would be $444.
My goal is to complete all tour payments by the Crossman deadline of May 1st.
Why am I spending all this money and giving up my whole summer? It has always been a dream of mine to march Drum Corps. Most of my family, including my parents and grandparents have marched Drum Corps, so to follow in their footsteps is really cool to me. I have been watching and enjoying this activity my whole life, and to finally be a part of it is a dream come true. I am especially proud I get to be involved with a corps as good as the Crossmen at my young age. I will be the third generation of my family to be involved with the Crossmen. The corp has so much cool history, and they amaze me with their great music year after year.
I have worked hard for countless hours, and overcome many obstacles to get a spot in the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps.
I will be extremely grateful if you donate to my cause. I can promise that I will work as hard as I possibly can, and make everyone proud. I am so happy to finally be involved because it is my passion, and I know this summer with the Crossmen will stay with me forever.
