Jim's lost wages

On December 28th, Jim, an employee of mine,  lost two weeks wages when his pay envelope flew out of his tractor window on Park St. in Alexandria (behind the town hall) unbeknown to him. He has recently started with us doing snow removal.  Once he realized the envelope was missing and where he would have lost it, he went back to Park to look for it with no luck. Later this evening my wife and I went looking for it on Park St. and fortunately and not so fortunately found the envelope (lying in the middle of the road) with the money missing. We were hoping that the individual who took the money would be a Good Samaritan and would return it so an employee can get his wages. Hopefully with Christmas still in our hearts, the right thing will eventually happen.
