Tell Me Everything - An Art Show

We are Bryan Fountain and Fritz Howser. As design students at Boston University's School of Visual Arts in 2016 we believe the line between different mediums, forms and practices are all blurring together. So long are the days of the “branding specialist” or “motion designer.” Visual culture is exploding in front of our eyes and everyone wants wants a piece of the pie. Tell Me Everything is an art show with a motive to expose young artists as everything they’re worth.


This is a cross disciplinary art show for one night only. It will showcase emerging artists across all media from Boston, NYC, and LA. This is an opportunity for people who are interested to gain a look into the emerging visual arts scene, and to be a part of something that will not exist after the 3 hour event. In turn, the event will give a quick glimpse into the Student Arts scene and hopefully further exhibiting artists careers.


We are trying to raise money to put on this show in the most professional way possible. All money will be going towards the things we need to put on a great event that can live up to our initial intentions with organizing it- To showcase emerging artists.

Making things look good and work well is expensive. As students, we know how to cut corners when it comes to costs. For instance, when we’re printing books we recycle old paper, when we make posters we we print together to get group deals. The further along in our design careers we go, the more we’ve figured out how NOT to sacrifice quality when it comes to production.
As designers we believe this keeps us on our toes when making decisions, often adding an element of surprise to the final product.

This is a breakdown of what we specifically need the money for-

WEBSITE
A site to advertise the show- after the event it will live on as a place to archive the 3 hours.

INSTALLATION SUPPLIES
- Materials to hang work- Airplane Cable, Nails/Screws, Clips, Backing Boards
- Blank Tapestry to Line entry of POP Allston
 for Potential advertisting
- Lighting
- 3 rolls of Tulle fabric for Specialty Motion Projection
-Exclusive piece created for Tell Me Everything

TRANSPORTATION
We will need to  rent a van to transport the work from our studios to the event space the day of the shows installation.


LOGISTICS
We have multiple artists work from LA and NYC that we need to ship to the gallery space .

MERCHANDISE
We plan on having an area where will be selling limited edition shirts paper for limited edition posters and artists books/zines/paper works and need the materials to produce these things.

ENTERTAINMENT
-DJ/BAND
