Jessamine Countians to Conserve Green Space

Jessamine Countians to Conserve Green Space (JCCGS) is a group of people who want to preserve areas of Jessamine county for years to come. We are all in favor of progress, but we would like our children and grandchildren to be able to experience the same beautiful landscape and countryside as we did growing up in this community.

There are currently 127 acres located in the middle of 3 subdivisions (Hawthorne, Lone Oak and Paddock) and within 1 mile of 6 additional subdivisions (Keene Crossing, Keeneland, Autumn Hills, Belle Place, Sunbrook and Heritage) that will be affected. If this development occurs, the homes in these areas could potentially depreciate in value.

Not only will this development destroy 127 acres, but will cause major traffic problems on an already heavily traveled road

This money will help pay for fees and other costs associated with saving this area from development. We welcome any and all donations; large or small, every one is appreciated.
