In March of 2012, Jenny was diagnosed with breast cancer. With her strong faith and the support of her family and friends, she bravely fought this battle and was in remission for two years!
In August of 2015, Jenny went to the ER because of headaches and dizziness. Scans found a large mass on her right frontal lobe. She had brain surgery to remove the tumor. It was confirmed her breast cancer had spread to her brain.
The week following her brain surgery she went in for a full body scan and discovered cancer is present in multiple lymph nodes in both sides of her neck and one spot in her right armpit.
Beginning Tuesday, September 1st she will be transferring her care to the Mayo Clinic. They will put together a plan for her to win this battle!
Please help Jenny focus on healing by reducing the financial stress on her family. At this time she is not able to return to her Social Work position at Annandale Elementary.
Jenny and her husband Jay live in Annandale with their two young sons. Jamison is 7 and Jonah is 5. A big concern of Jenny’s as she heals is making sure her children’s needs are met.
Jenny is always looking out for others and now it is our turn to give back to her. She is an amazing fighter and needs a team to fight along with her!
