Friends, family and employees with the City of La Vergne, where Sgt. Davis has worked since 2003, stepped up to get tested to see if they were a match as well. One officer, Eric Crowder has been confirmed as a positive match.
Officer Eric Crowder has been in law enforcement for the past 7 years. Officer Crowder attempts to be a positive role model for children and he recently signed up to begin teaching D.A.R.E. to children within his community. He stated he wants to teach D.A.R.E. to be a positive influence on children. He is also a devoted husband and father of two adorable girls, ages 8 and 2.
Officer Crowder has dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community and others. Officer Crowder is a Christian who has always given unselfishly to help others in need and when given the opportunity he gladly signed up to help save the life of fellow officer Chip Davis.
