It takes a village and one of ours is in need.
Jeannie (Vaquera) Snelling is fighting once again to kick cancer out for good.
To know Jeannie, is to know that she is an exceptional woman; she is a role model mother, wife, sister, daughter, niece, cousin and friend. Jeannie comes from a close-knit and loving family and has fostered these characteristics within her own family. The dedication, love and support she gives to her husband, Travis, and daughter, Madison (14), is exemplary and immeasurable. Her heart is the size of Texas and her strength and courage enduring beyond measure.
Initially diagnosed in 2010 with Adenocarcinoma, Jeannie fought and conquered! Recently diagnosed again, she is now fighting to conquer for good! To help Jeannie fight and conquer again, we have created this page to help take away the burden of financial worry for this beautiful woman and her family. Jeannie is not able to work her usual schedule and this creates a huge stressor which she does not need while fighting like a champ.
Not only does Jeannie shine among friends and family, she is a pillar in her community. Jeannie has given her all to South Lyon's Relay for Life and continues to do so! For the past 6 years, she has dedicated herself to her team, Vaquera's Victories. She has served as a committee member for Relay, and for the last 2 years, was Chairperson for South Lyon's Relay for Life. This is who she is, consistently giving her all to everyone, helping her community to fight and conquer! This is Jeannie giving to her village. Now, we are her village! #ittakesavillage
