JCARF Seed Fund
Jefferson County Anti-Racist Fund (JCARF) is a new project who's goal is to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in our community. In Jefferson County we strive to not only be friendly and welcoming to folks of diverse backgrounds but to uplift those in our community who are marginalized through sharing of resources.

A seed fund will help JCARF get off the ground by helping us to purchase a laptop, rent office space, print and distribute flyers and other outreach methods, start a bank account, compensate BIPOC folks working on the project, and have funds available to begin helping folks in the community immediately! We already have folks ready to receive funds to help make their lives better!
What does JCARF do?
*Promotes mutual aid and reparations and wellness for Black folks, Indigenous folks and all People of Color (BIPOC) in our local community
*Supports BIPOC lead projects and causes
*Funds individual BIPOC needs such as but not limited to:
Access to wellness treatments/therapies (especially those not covered by insurance)
Access to educational opportunities
Bills
Emergency situations
Family support
Access to healing/traditional foods
Transportation
Access to land
*Promotes and coordinates resource sharing between those who have access and those who seek access
*Organizes events and community around anti-racism
