James was born with transposition of the great arteries. he had his first heart surgery at just 8 weeks old. James is having the last part of a surgery called a Fontaine to help correct his heart. This surgery will be performed at luciLu Packard children's hospital in Palo Alto California. The money we are raising is to help us pay for travel expenses and lost wages since my wife and I will be taking a month off work to be by James side while he recovers from his surgery. The Dr performing the surgery is Dr. Frank Hanley who is one of the best children's cardiologist around. He has done all three of James heart surgery's and has done a great job. James is now 6 years old and you couldn't tell by looking at him there was anything wrong with him. He is a fun intergenic kid that has a great love for the outdoors and animals. This is the first surgery that James will be old enough to know what is going to happen to him and he has been a trooper about it. He is still worried about it but doesn't show it and keeps a great attitude towards it. I will be keeping this page up today on James surgery and how he is doing. His surgery dates will be August 8th for this Cath surgery witch will be at marry bridge children's hospital and it will  give the Doctors  a clear look at his heart then they will perform the second part of his Fontaine on October 25th and that one will be in Palo Alto California witch is 850 miles from are home in Puyallup wa.

I want to thank everyone who read about are son James and I will be updating this after August 8th to let you know how James Cath went.

James got to go home last night. And today he has let us remove is bandages and he is doing every well. He's been trying to run around and play. This boy doesn't let anything hold him back.

I also wanted to take the time to thank everyone for there donation prayers and support it means so much to our family to see everyone praying and helping support James in this tough time. It's very hard on James me and Kim having to deal with everything that's going on. It's one thing to know he has to have the surgery but it's a whole nother knowing that you have to hand them over and hope that he survive the surgery that he's going to go through. it's an emotional roller coaster that's very hard to be on and I pray everyday that James survives everything that he goes through he is in such high Spirits all the time and such a happy child it's so hard to think that there's so much going wrong with his little heart. So I want to give a big thank you to everyone helping James and our family with the love and supporting comments and prayers that people are sending James's way.
Thank you everyone so much.

I will be posting more updates as we get closer to the main surgery date in October to let everyone know how James is doing and that what time his surgery will be on October 25th.
