Guiry Family - Flood Damages

I am setting this page up with a heavy heart. This past October 4th started the day where my father lost the majority of what he has worked so hard for. He is one of the many in SC that lost his house and everything in it. In addition to this, his business was also flooded. Currently, we are assessing what the exact number is that it will cost us to rebuild our life. Right now our campaign goal is a rough estimate of what it will cost to recover from the damages done.
I am asking for your help because my proud father will not. He is one of the hardest working men I have ever known. I want to tell you about this amazing man, and make you understand why I asking for your help. He served in the Air Force 20+ years, and raised 3 daughters by himself until he married my stepmother. October 2003, he started a Tae Kwon Do business while still in the Air Force. Once he retired from the Air Force he began working for a contracting company because he knew that his business would not be able to support his family on its own. Eventually, he left his contracting job because of the amount of time it was taking away from his family. To supplement the loss of income, he started a small lawn care business.
I tell you all of this to show you a glimpse of what he has done to provide for his family. He has worked extremely hard to provide for us, and now I want to try and help him because he deserves it. He didn’t deserve to lose almost everything. If you are able to give anything at all, even just a $1, it would be most appreciated. All monetary donations will go towards redoing the floors, electrical work, walls, appliances, furniture, and machines damaged by the flood. If we have overestimated our damages, or have an overabundance of love sent our way, we will be donating the excess money to a foundation to help others rebuild their homes. If you donate to our campaign you can do so through GoFundMe (they do take out about 7% of your donation as a fee) or you can make out a check and send it to us.
