IVF for Lauren

I have set up this page for my lovely friend Lauren – she is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know, so I really wanted to do something to help her.

Like a lot of young women, Lauren always dreamed of having her big fairytale – finding her handsome prince, starting a family and living happily ever after. Sadly, life doesn’t always go according to the fairytales though...

Lauren met her husband David four years ago. She went on to become an amazingly caring, loving and devoted step mother to his four children (certainly not an easy task to undertake!) Lauren and David wanted to start a family together, but tragically after four years of trying for a baby of her own, and having had test after test, Lauren has been told it is very unlikely she will conceive a baby naturally. Lauren said she felt her whole life's purpose was shattered – what is life meant to be if you cant pass it on to generation after generation?

Lauren has been told she can try for a baby through Natural Cycle IVF. Unfortunately though this isnt free! The total treatment costs for 2 treatments are £8721. So I am asking you all, think about what the gift of a baby actually means to you? Please give whatever you can – any amount will be highly appreciated and will get Lauren one step closer to achieving her dream of becoming a mummy.
