ITTI Kids Scholarship Fundraiser

The International Table Tennis Institute of New Jersey is a 501c Charitable Trust which has been established for just over 2 years to support young and aspiring table tennis players in the New Jersey and New York areas.
Each year the ITTI seek support in sponsoring scholarships for young athletes who exhibit good performance, outstanding character and attitude, brilliance in academic pursuits and also to players with learning, physical or mental disabilities who love to play. We also aim to give our full support to low income families, we believe everybody should have the opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity.
In 2015 the ITTI awarded a number of scholarships, special awards and held special awards dinners and gave thanks to our supporters. Along with the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center, the ITTI have also provided free memberships to promising players, free lessons and supported players in competing overseas and gaining international experience at World Junior Circuit events.
In 2015 ITTI also awarded free memberships to students who excelled academically and gained entrance into prestigious colleges or achieved outstanding SAT scores. ITTI believe in supporting youth to excel in all aspects of their lives.
We are incredibly lucky and grateful to have such talented and well raised young kids participating in table tennis and a strong support network of parents, volunteers and generous sponsors to aid us in continuing to build on what we can give.
In 2016 we are aiming to present the following:
- 2 x $1000 Top Kids Scholarship = $2000
- 10 x $600 Kids Scholarships = $6000
- 4 x $360 High Performance Scholarships = $1440
The ITTI also aim to provide opportunities for young players to gain experience at national and international competitions and to travel in team environments. We promote the sport of table tennis and it's ability to create strong moral character, a social environment for young people and physical wellbeing.
Supporters will be invited to a special awards dinner in 2016 to help us celebrate the success of the many talented youth involved.
