I am Danielle Boyce, an award-winning advocate for people with infantile spasms.  My son, Charlie, had infantile spasms and has now had intractable epilepsy for five years.  He is profoundly cognitively impaired.  At one point, Charlie had hundreds of seizures per day.

I am also a former neurology research manager at a large pediatric hospital.  I know the challenges of small grant application and administration.  

I want to bypass some of this red tape by raising money privately and awarding the funding directly to the Michele Jacob lab at Tufts.  Dr. Jacob and her team have been doing groundbreaking research on infantile spams.

We do not know the cause and we do not have a cure for this catastrophic seizure disorder, but researchers are on the brink of discovery.  They just need the funding.

Please help us to get the funds that we need to stop the suffering of thousands of babies like Charlie each year.
