Asalaam Alaykum Everyone!
Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year in Islamic culture and is full of blessings.
This holy month is also a valuable time for people, neighbours and loved ones to gather, celebrate and strengthen our bounds with community members.
Each year Buckingham ISOC provides all its members free Iftar every week during the holy month of Ramadan.
In order to make this possible, we need funds and donations from our members and anyone willing to contribute. As all of Ramadan falls within term time and more students are around, we require a significant amount of funds. 100% of donations will go towards buying food and necessary resources to provide iftaars.
Please donate generously and may Allah reward you for your contribution in this holy month, when good deeds are multiplied exponentially.
The Prophet (saw) said: “Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807
