Insulin is expensive
During my 3-week leave of absence for my move to Arizona, I ran out of insulin. When I went to my local pharmacy, I was told that my insurance was deactivated and I was turned away several times over the course of two days. I am desperately in need of my medicine and will pay out of pocket for it instead of fighting with the pharmacy about insurance, but it costs $150 out of pocket with a voucher and I currently have only about $80 to my name. I promise to pay the $75 forward to someone else in need when I receive my paycheck in two weeks.
The $75 would go towards a pack of five Lantus SoloStar pens.
