Indigenous youth suicide is an Epidemic
Tax deductible
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!
Kate, Lizzy, Dave and Shelley are raising money and awareness for the tragedy of Indigenous youth suicide. This Crisis should be plastered on the front cover of our newspapers, and the government should be responding! But their not!Our aim is to raise money for early intervention and prevention programs in rural areas.
We are outraged at the lack of care from our government. The systemic trauma, bullying and racism becomes too much for these kids. We are shaving our hair off out of anger and also love, hoping that our BALD move can inspire our community to learn, create awareness, and donate to STOP this suicide epidemic.
24 indigenous youths have died by suicide in 2019 already “vast majority of young indigenous people who died by suicide this year were living in poverty”.

And donate money, there is no amount too small.
As there is no Organisation directly for prevention, we are in talks with Jane from Thirrili who has put us in contact with Gerry Georgatos, more information to come over the week.
