Indigenous Liberation Walk 2018

My name is Tanisha and my moms name is Gillian. We are heading to South Africa this Feb 2018, to take part in a 1000KM Indigenous Liberation Walk starting February 18, 2018. We will walk with 16 participants for 14 days from Victoria West to Namaqualand and Southwards to Cape Town. The walk is a journey to attain recognition, upliftment and healing. Human rights, affirmation of their contribution to society and acknowledging their historical suffering can only be restored through respect, inclusion, self determination and ownership/protection of culture and land (UNDRIPS). We are starting this fund in order to assist us and those we are walking with in this 14 day journey: for support vehicles and necessities. Any remaining money we will be donating to the Indeginous community. The support we recieve will mean a lot and your help will be greatly appreciated to us and the Indigenous communities as it will help us shed light on a very important matter.
