Andrew Kilgore Eagle Scout Project

My name is Andrew Kilgore, I am in 10th grade at Hereford High School and I'm a Life Scout in BSA Troop 92 in Northern Baltimore County.
I will be completing the memorialization of Joshua David Snyder and Norman Wallace Anderson III by installing two memorial gardens around two trees that were planted in their honor in 2005. These two soldiers both went to Hereford High, Played sports, Graduated and served together in the Marine Corps. Both of these men were also in scouts, Joshua who was in our troop and Norman who was in Pack 468.
To complete this project I will be placing three marble plaques (one in either garden and one in the pathway in between), also I will be adding a Bluestone wall around the perimeter of two trees that were placed many years ago (Please note, The Marble is the most expensive part of my project because I will be getting it from a company in Vermont that is the same supplier as the stones at Arlington National Cemetary. The top three layers of Bluestone will be concreted down). Inside these walls I will lay down hardscape that will be glued down with a special glue (Gravel-Lok, Please note, even though the Hardscape is glued down, water can still get through and into the roots of the tree) I then will be placing the plaques and 2 LED solar panel lights to shine on the two plaques in the gardens 24/7.
To finish out this project I plan to have a dedication ceremony in early November of 2015 for their 10th Anniversary of their burials.
I want to do this project because the Military means a lot to me, also since they both went to my high school and were in scouts, that gives me even more reasoning to do this project.
For my project I have been working with the Anderson.Snyder Foundation (My Beneficiary) to do this project.
I began this project in early summer 2014 with the pre -planning phase. I have done a couple fundraisers to date (12/2014) which include several "Rent-A-Scout" activity days where a group of guys and myself have done physical labor for a donation. I have also done concessions for a local Christmas Bazaar. I also have a Spaghetti Dinner/New Year's eve party planned and a Corn Hole Tournament in Mid-January.
