Shelter Memorial for Lucas

In August of 2015 I lost my little angel Lucas. I rescued him when he was about 10 months old while I was volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society. He was picked up on the street about an hour before I saw him and it was love at first sight.
Over our 14 years together, he taught me more about dog behavior and training than any dog training school ever could. Making me a better dog trainer not only benefitted me personally but also our community. He helped socialize my clients' dogs (many of whom were also rescued from shelters) and dogs I fostered. He visited schools to help educate children about dog ownership and safety. He also served as my "demo dog" for group Obedience and Agility classes at Petsmart, the Pasadena Humane Society and several doggy daycares. He was a true Teacher's Pet and the love of my life.
Please consider giving to our campaign to fund a donation to the Pasadena Humane Society toward a permanent memorial engraving for Lucas on one of their Tribute Sculptures. The sculptures are permanently installed in their new Animal Care Center Grand Foyer. Your donation will go directly to the shelter where Lucas and I worked together for many years, and will help care for the shelter's many homeless animals.
