After much consideration, I have decided to run for city council in the upcoming Toronto municipal elections to represent Ward 12 (Toronto St. Paul's).
My goal is to bring a new kind of politics to city life: Politics of Possibility. Unlike the politics of left vs. right, right vs. wrong, and us vs. them, Politics of Possibility is built on integrity and honour. It deals with issues through the prism of environmental, social and economic sustainability. In this new paradigm, government is held to account for meeting the needs of the present without jeopardising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
