Hello,
My name is Ivan Rivera and I am from San Diego, CA. I am the nephew of Mary Martinez (née Rivera) and I am looking to help raise funds to assist her with the reconstruction of her home. She lives in the little town of Wharton, TX (pop. 8,832) and was a victim of the wrath of Hurricane Harvey. She had to be evacuated from her house, which is now completely under water along with all of her possesions. She has had to endure the death of both of my grandparents, her husband (after only two years of marriage), my Dad (her brother), and the most painful loss of all, her eldest son. She has very little help, if at all, and I am looking to help raise funds to get her house rebuilt. My aunt has been a volunteer many times and has helped others wihtout hesitation when most needed. She has been a pillar of strength for family and friends in difficult moments and now she needs that same support. I would like to help her now, but I cannot do so by myself; this is the reason that I am asking for your assistance. Anything donated would be greatly appreciated.
