Hurricane Maria Relief Guayama PR
I am raising money in efforts to provide Hurricane Relief to Guayama, Puerto Rico. 100% of Puerto Rico has been without electricity during this storm. Guayama, Puerto Rico in Particular, has been engulfed in feet of water. Its patriotic citizens are without food, power and the necessary resources to strive in a stabilized environment. This is a NON-Profit fundraiser whose money will be used to purchase toiletries, supplies, canned goods, women's sanitary napkins, and childcare supplies to the devastated town of Guayama, Puerto Rico. Voted Miss Puerto Rico Yonkers 2010, I vow to use this money only to help those in need. Any increment of donation is appreciated. Que viva Puerto Rico+ Read More
Once again, I have purchased all the donations, dropped them off, and helped pack them into care packages at NOlimit autobody shop in Freeport Long Island. Hopefully this post can further help understand how the process of shipment is successful.
Some have been asking, how are our donations getting to Puerto Rico? Well guess what?! I have coordinated with No Limit Autobody Shop in 10 Alexander street Freeport, Long Island, which is acting as both a donor and collector of supplies which are being distributed to PR. Jose, the owner of the shop, has a relationship with a cargo shipping company. The owner of the cargo shipping company has given jose special discounted rates in order to help in the humanitarian efforts of shipping goods to PR. The goods are then being collected by David who is the founder of IGOTTOURSPR, a tour company popular for its familiarity with the island. Dave will be receiving the cargo crates as they Arrive to the port. Dave has agreed to help those who request it, to try his hardest to get goods to particular parts of the island as well as family members. Dave is working with a ground team in PR to make sure this happens. The first cargo container was shipped out yesterday, leaving no limits autobody shop at 4 A.M.
Today I purchased another shopping cart of items including 7 bags of rice, 12 packs of 8 ramen noodle soups, 100 cans of beans peas corn and chef boy rd.
