Duke of Ed Costa Rica mission Trip

We are the Duke of Ed mission Program from North Bay, Ontario.
For the past 9 years, we have worked with 7 elementary schools, 3 high schools delivering school supplies, putting in internet, delivering food and clothes, we also work with the senoirs complex, plus the physically/ mentally challenged adults, as well our alcohol/drug rehab centre.
All money raised will go to completing 2 classrooms at Bajor-Toros and 1 classroom at Llarno Grande in Sarchi Costa Rica and surrounding area.
People in the community and surrounding area of Sarchi work on Plantations, earning as little as a dollar to 1.50$/hr, where the cost of living is comparable to that of Ontario Canada. Helping these people will help improve their livelyhood, education, and open doors to which they wouldn't of had before. We also deliver food parcels to those living in extreme povety. it is our goal to help the most needy throughout the communities and also teach our group members about giving caring and sharing with those less fortunate.
To be able to help those children go to school give them an education, help improve their lives, enables us to give a little back and show by going for the past 9 years that we really care about those in Sarchi and surrounding areas.
