Karissa Kimble's A Cappella Academy

Hi, my name is Karissa Kimble and I am a sophomore at Morrison Christian Academy in Taiwan. I have been accepted to a select music camp called A Cappella Academy, which runs from July 1-11, 2016 at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles, California. This camp was originally formed by, Rob Dietz (Music Arranger), Ben Bram (Pentatonix Producer), and Avi Kaplan (Bass of Pentatonix). I was one of 73 accepted out of 556 auditioners, the top 13%. This is such an exciting opportunity for me. I need to raise money to be able to pay the tuition for this camp which costs $2,000 USD ($66,000 NT). All donations which you contribute will help pay for my tuition. I need to make my first deposit by April 1.
     I would greatly appreciate any contributions you make which will allow me to attend this camp. The reason this camp means so much to me is because I have a talent for singing and have always been passionate about it. I have been in choir all throughout elementary and middle school and made it into my high school's A Cappella Choir as a freshman. I also participated in several music contests and placed first in the High School Talent Show last spring. I have been taking voice lessons this year and currently have a lead role in the upcoming spring musical. Taiwan doesn't offer any programs like A Cappella Academy and being able to work with peers who are as passionate as I am would be an extremely great privilege. Since this is the direction I want to go in the future, I am excited to see how my experience at the camp will continue to shape me as a person, singer, and performer. I appreciate your interest in my summer opportunity and I would be very grateful for any support you are willing to offer!
