Hospaws Needs A Place To Call Home

Hospaws is a non-profit organization in Westmoreland County, Pa.  Our mission is to provide local residents who are in need of medical care, with the assistance they need in order to care for their pets
  To so many, their pets are their family and to some it is all the family they have.  Pets have a comforting and healing power that people need. We believe that no one should have to give up a pet due to a medical condition or hospital stay.  
  We are an all-volunteer organization that will do in home care or fostering until you are back on your feet. For our clients we can also provide food, litter and other basic supplies needed for your pet as well as transportation to the vet or the groomer.  All this is at no charge to you.
  Due to the very high demand of this service (and not enough foster homes available) we are in desperate need of a facility/home where the pets can stay until their owner is well enough to take them back.  We will have volunteers on site keeping your pet safe and comfortable until they can be return to their owner.
  This will not be a shelter atmosphere for your pet but a more "at home" setting where they can enjoy the time spent.
