The Mission at Hope House Babies Home exists for the purpose of providing a safe haven for abandoned babies offered for adoption.
On a recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya, my sister and I were lucky enough to spend some time at The Hope House for Babies. It is an orphanage where children 2 and under are brought when they have been abandoned.
We went to a local supermarket & purchased a bunch of supplies that Hope House had said they needed & then made our way across town to help out in any way that we could. We were greeted by 25 babies, all ready to be held, played with, and loved in any way.
Unfortunately the packs of diapers we had purchased were mostly gone after our visit & they had to go back to using washcloths and safety pins to keep the babies clean. This is the real purpose of this fundraising.
We are looking to send this money to this wonderful place, that literally asks for nothing, where the staff is not getting paid, & are doing life changing things. They have little supplies & no means for getting more.
It would mean the absolute world to us & these babies if you could donate! One pack of diapers is 14$ and can keep one baby clean for almost a week. If you cannot donate, please please share this post.
These babies need us! They need someone, somewhere looking out for their wellbeing and future. They deserve a clean diaper, new toys, and other materials that all help a baby thrive and reach their full potential.
