Hope for Flint: Water Drive

Hello again, my name is Prince F. Robertson, and I am a native of Saginaw, MI (37 miles from Flint, MI). On last year, a hand full of great/caring friends and I raised over $1,000 to purchase and drop off more than 13,000 bottles of water to Northridge Academy in Flint, MI. We were also able to go door to door with cases of water for residents of the inner city.

Since then, the national wide spread of media coverage has slowly faded away. I have decided to launch another water drive in partnership with the Champaign County NAACP.

I am again reaching out to help the city of Flint, MI and the crisis they are still currently dealing with. The plan is again to purchase bottled water with the funds collected, then drop them off to Northridge Academy.

We plan on keeping this link open and available to donate until Friday, February 17, 2017. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Those who wish to donate bottled water can do so by dropping them off at Bethel AME Church (401 E. Park St. Champaign, IL 61820) during the hours of 5:30PM - 7:00PM each Tuesday until February 14, 2017.

We can still stand together with FLINT!!!
