Honoring Ariel Pietsch

Donation protected
As you all have heard, sweet Ariel went home to be with Our Lord as a result of an unexpected and sudden illness.

This has turned Jennifer's world upside down. We want to ease even the smallest burdens in any way that we can while she grieves. It's important for you all to know, Jennifer was not in anyway behind the idea of starting this fund. It was only after dozens of community members and friends reached out repeatedly asking what they can do, how they can help, where they can send money, that we convinced her to allow us to do this for her.

Please know that any funds donated by your kind hearts will be used for the following, and in the following order:

Initial costs no one is prepared for:
She may incur medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance, but also hotels, food, gas and any costs that may be associated with upcoming services. Additionally, she bought a last minute plane ticket to get her oldest daughter home from California to see her sick sister. With this tragic turn, she now hopes to be able to fly her back here at a later date for services.

Day-to-Day family expenses:
We want Jennifer to take whatever time off work she is able without worrying for one second about paying her household bills.

Memories for her little brother in honor of Ariel:
Jennifer has always put memory-making at the forefront of her parenting and in fact just recently sat with her two kids and made an adventure list. We'd like her to be able to fulfill those wishes in Ariel's honor with her son Jaxon.

Jaxon's future - something Ariel cared deeply about:
When the opportunity to adopt her little brother arose and she talked with Ariel,  she told Jennifer, "Save Jaxon like you saved me." With her sweet words in mind, for Jaxon to have the bright future filled with love Ariel wanted for him, anything that surpasses goal or is left over from her expenses will be put toward his future.

Jennifer also wanted everyone to know that the hospital and the Child Life organization was amazing with Ariel and to the family.  Here is a link if anyone feels compelled to donate directly to them in Ariel's honor:

Please also remember there is an account set up at Peninsula Federal Credit Union if you prefer that method of donation.

We thank you sincerely for anything at all you can contribute to supporting Jennifer and her family through their enormous grief.
