homeless veteran and family

Donation protected

Our motorhome caught on fire on our way to Rochester Minnesota. We were able to put it out but the smoke damaged everything we had inside and left us without a place to live. My husband is a disabled veteran who is on oxygen and when the fire broke out he inhaled some of the smoke causing more problems with his breathing. My family intended on living in our motorhome and traveling after our 17 year old daughter graduated high school. She is a senior at Century this year. As of now we are homeless and desparately looking for an apartment.  The funds raised from this campaign help us pay for an apartment, replace clothes we lost in the fire, help cover basic needs, and get us started on replacing our motorhome. As of right now we are in a motel room, thanks to the generous support of the VA, until we can find an apartment to call home.
A local news station hear of our situation and wanted to help bring awareness to our situation. You can see the story here http:/abc6.tv/9a1bk.
We are so grateful for all those people that have stepped in to help us so far!
